AMEX is seeking a Sales Coordinator Intern in our Madrid office. We are searching for a student interested in Sales and Data Analytics who would like to work alongside our Acquisition Team within the SME’s organization in ICS (International Card Services). This is a paid internship opportunity that will provide the intern with an excellent, hands-on introduction to a thriving, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Projects

An intern will be offered an opportunity to be involved in meaningful work/projects, be exposed to daily Sales functions, professionals, and business leaders. The intern will be introduced to useful tools and resources that will help the intern grow both professionally and personally.

Projects would include Supporting the B2B Acquisition team, the Sales Coordinator Intern will work helping analyzing sales campaigns, client onboardings, management of external sales agencies and close relationship with our Risk and Operations stakeholders. The intern will have the opportunity to support the Sales Strategy and become part of an agile and dynamic commercial team.

Training Project:

  • Familiarise with task of support & assist with the design and implementation of B2B sales campaigns, including data source analysis and monitoring of sales cycles.
  • To learn & follow how External Sales Agency are managed from an internal perspective.
  • To master the preparation of commercial Value-Propositions.
  • Take part, along with the team, of workstream with internal operational team and processes, such as client onboarding journeys.
  • To learn process efficiency and regulatory implementations project support functions.
  • To become proficiency in build and get-to-know relationships with all relevant stakeholders, including Account Managers, Risk, Credit, Operations and Servicing teams.

Candidate aptitudes:

  • Able to remain calm under pressure, think on your feet and proactively solve problems is a must
  • Self-starting, innovative thinker who can provide team with suggestions and recommendations for process improvement, a go-getter Internet research, and social media skills.
