Primarily the mission and activity is to be immersed within the very dynamic and collaborative Illescas plant environment and thus profit and learn as much

as possible from the production process, organization and way of working. This will happen by being part of the Illescas Plant PPI 'Performance &

Productivity Improvement' team.

Then put into practice computer science IT knowledge to support the implementation of Illescas Plant Digitalization strategy which is based on Airbus

business objectives. Specifically:

- Support running or proposed digitalization projects and initiatives. This can include proposing and using the IT architecture, tools or platforms that best fit

the foreseen solutions.

- Identify possible areas where improvement could be possible thanks to relevant digitalization capabilities such as IoT, AI, Cloud, Mixed Reality, Additive

Manufacturing or Data Analytics.

- Launch 'quick win' initiatives for automating or digitalizing processes. This can include supporting the actual IT solutions development.

In summary, get involved and learn Airbus' way of working and in parallel apply IT knowledge to help meet targets in terms of cost savings, deliveries and

quality.
