FP&A Business Support trainee

Job Purpose

This position will assist the Europe Medsurg FP&A team, focused on the European Neuromodulation business, but liaising with Endoscopy and Urology business as well. He/she will enable the execution of the annual planning process for the European Medsurg division.

Integrated in this team, he/she will support Finance on core Financial Planning and Analysis processes (Close, Reporting & Planning).

Candidates will need to be IT literate, as they will be dealing with complex excel files, assuring the accurate load into the global systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support core Financial Planning and Analysis processes for the Division (planning/forecasting, closing and reporting) helping with the analytics.
• Review the planning tools available in order to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
• Identify improvement areas in the process / systems.
• Provide responses to any gap between source data and end reports.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in a numerate or business subject.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Excellent command of MS Office package (in particular Excel). Knowledge of management reporting tools (Hyperion) is a plus.
• Must be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good interpersonal and communication/presentation skills
• Able to work in a fast paced environment with tough deadlines.
• Position based in Madrid (Spain).
