The Educational Cooperation Program (COPE) of the Faculty of Psychology at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid is a proprietary degree aimed at final-year Psychology students who are interested in directing their professional development towards the field of organizations and Human Resources.
It is a dual-format training program that combines academic education at the university with practical training in companies. COPE consists of a specific theoretical training phase (20 ECTS), complemented by a six-month professional internship period in companies. The theoretical instruction is delivered by university faculty and expert professionals in the field of Human Resources, aiming to equip students with basic competencies in organization, leadership, and people management.
This program is promoted in collaboration with the Círculo de Empresarios, the Fundación Universidad-Empresa (FUE), and the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid itself. Over more than 38 years of experience, more than one hundred public and private companies have participated in the program, hosting over 1,500 students for their professional internships.
Study Support
The program includes a paid scholarship.
Duration
One academic year. The theoretical phase runs from September to November, followed by the internship.
Schedule
Up to 35 hours per week, depending on the collaborating company. Selected students must have full availability to attend training seminars and complete the internship.

Qualification
Own Degree “Specialization Course in Organization and Human Resources” issued by the Autonomous University of Madrid.
The main objective of the program is to offer Psychology students at UAM the opportunity to integrate their academic training with practical experience in a business environment, so they graduate with stronger preparation, an applied perspective of organizational work, and key skills to successfully face the job market.

The COPE program not only includes internships in companies, but also incorporates a solid training offer designed to boost students' employability. The contents are organized into three main blocks:
Skills and Competencies of the Human Resources Professional: Includes topics on personnel selection and evaluation, team management and coordination, project management, self-presentation skills, ICT applications, etc.
Strategies in Organization and Human Resources Management: Covers content on job analysis, compensation and benefits, performance evaluation, talent management and career development, diversity management, training management, change management, methodology and data analysis in organizations, AI in organizations, etc.
Economic and Legal Environment: Legal and economic aspects in human resources management.
The program counts on the participation of companies committed to training future generations of professionals, facilitating their job placement and strengthening their professional skills.
The program is exclusively aimed at final-year students of the Psychology Degree at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. To access it, certain academic requirements must be met and an internal selection process passed:
Having passed all the mandatory subjects of the first three years of the degree.
It is recommended to have taken elective subjects from the Social and Organizational Psychology profile.
The academic record will be especially valued.
The selection process is carried out through eValue, a specialized tool in the evaluation of people and talent developed by the Intituto de Ingeniería del Conocimiento (IIC).
