🏢 About the Company and the Department
The internship will take place in the R&D department focused on RF systems within the framework of Open RAN technologies. The team works on developing, testing, and validating components such as power amplifiers and pre-distortion algorithms, contributing to cutting-edge innovations in wireless communications.
📚 Learning Objectives
The student will:

Acquire practical knowledge of radio frequency (RF) systems and measurement techniques.

Learn how to characterize RF components and validate digital pre-distortion (DPD) prototypes.

Understand how to prepare and configure RF test benches in laboratory settings.
-
Develop skills in drafting clear and concise technical documentation and test reports.
-
Gain experience in collaborative technical environments, including participation in validation and engineering meetings.

Apply automation techniques to optimize test processes and analyze experimental data effectively.
Functions to Perform

Support in RF component characterization and DPD prototype validation

Preparation and setup of test benches for experimental validation of RF systems

Drafting of technical documentation and test reports to record procedures and findings

Participation in technical meetings with development and validation teams to follow project progress

Collaboration in test process automation and data analysis using scripting and software tools
🎓 Candidate Profile
🎓 Academic Degree
Students enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in:

Telecommunications Engineering

Electronics Engineering

Physics with specialization in RF

or similar technical degrees
Required Knowledge and Skills

Fundamentals of RF systems and mobile communications (4G/5G)

Interest in Open RAN and understanding of network architectures
-
Familiarity with simulation tools and laboratory instrumentation

Programming or scripting for test automation (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
-
Technical English (B1/B2 level or above)

Microsoft Office: Word (4), Excel (4), PowerPoint (4), Access (4)
