Area description:

The internship position is within the Revenues Operation department, specifically in the Revenues Planning team. This department is responsible for strategizing, analyzing, and optimizing revenue generation processes across the organization. The Revenues Planning team focuses on forecasting, budgeting, and implementing revenue plans to achieve organizational objectives.

Project description:

The intern will be actively involved in various projects related to revenue planning and optimization within the context of Revenue Operations. This may include assisting in revenue forecasting models, analyzing revenue trends, and supporting the development of revenue strategies aligned with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success objectives.

Accountabilities:

 

  1. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of revenue forecasts and budgets
  2. Analyze revenue data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks while considering end-to-end commercial processes and frameworks.
  3. Support the development of revenue optimization strategies aligned with functional objectives across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for revenue planning within the context of Revenue Operations.
  5. Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management regarding revenue performance and projections, considering end-to-end commercial processes and business planning activities.
  6. Participate in meetings and discussions related to revenue planning and operations within the framework of Revenue Operations.

Learning:

  1. Gain practical experience in revenue forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes.
  2. Acquire knowledge of commercial strategy development and implementation within a global organization.
  3. Develop analytical skills through hands-on data analysis and interpretation for decision-making.

  5. Develop an understanding of the Travel Distribution industry, including learning about distribution channels, key concepts, trends, and industry dynamics affecting the travel sector.

Requirements:

  1. Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field.
  2. Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge in Excel.
  3. Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  5. Good team player and willingness to work in an international work environment.
  6. Prior internship or coursework related to finance, sales or revenue management is preferred but not required.
