🏢 About the Company and Department

The student will join the Open RAN R&D area, which plays a critical role in supporting innovation, standardization, and compliance in the deployment of next-generation mobile networks. This department works closely with legal, financial, and technical teams to ensure that R&D initiatives align with internal policies and European regulations. It also supports strategic processes such as ICAR (IT Capital Allocation Review) and financial audits.

📚 Learning Objectives

This internship is designed to provide the student with a multidisciplinary learning experience in the fields of legal, financial, and regulatory support within a technological R&D environment. The student will:

  • Develop skills in financial monitoring: Learn to track budgets, control expenses, and assist in financial reporting processes.

  • Understand contractual processes: Participate in reviewing contracts and legal clauses under the guidance of legal experts.

  • Acquire knowledge in regulatory compliance: Gain exposure to sustainability frameworks such as the DNSH principle (Do No Significant Harm) and the EU Taxonomy.

  • Strengthen reporting skills: Collaborate in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external audits.

  • Foster cross-functional understanding: Learn to navigate between legal, financial, and technical domains within a real business context.

Tasks to Be Performed

Under the supervision of experienced professionals, the student will be involved in the following tasks:

  • Support in the preparation of documentation for ICAR (IT Capital Allocation Review) and other strategic processes.

  • Review of contractual documentation and legal clauses with support from the legal department.

  • Budget tracking and financial reporting using internal tools (e.g., Excel, SAP).

  • Support in compliance and sustainability initiatives, including DNSH (Do No Significant Harm) assessments.

  • Drafting reports and presentations for internal and external audits.

All tasks are designed to reinforce the student's academic knowledge and to develop their practical skills in a structured and supervised learning environment.

🎓 Candidate Profile

📌 Degree Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s student in:

  • Law

  • Business Administration

  • Economics

  • Double Degrees (e.g., Law + Business Administration)

📌 Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Basic knowledge of accounting, taxation, and commercial law

  • Attention to detail and interest in regulatory compliance

📌 Languages and Tools

  • English: Minimum B2 level (required for technical and legal documentation)
