Vodafone is embarking on a global transformation of data & analytics leveraging innovative capabilities of google cloud and are looking for an experienced data transformation led to play a key role in enabling this large-scale delivery.
As the Junior RPA Engineer – InternetofThings (IoT) IT is responsible for the development of various IoT projects. As such, this is a critical role in terms of customer perception and will directly impact the success/reputation of Vodafone’s IoT product offering and its ability to achieve the forecasted revenue targets. The role holder will work with the product and architect team to deliver customer quality software products.
As an RPA Engineer trainee, you´ll have the opportunity to learn and apply your:
- Knowledge on Analytics solutions and data engineering
- Knowledge on Redshift Data Modelling and SQL
- Knowledge on Data ETL (Spark)
- Deep Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD
- Experience with AWS Service or Goggle Cloud Service
- Experience of scripting and coding languages (e.g.Java, Python, Ruby, Bash).
- Ability to maintain calm attitude during difficult situations and handle pressure situations.
- Agile Methodology embracement
- Strong team player with an ability to identify and remove impediments or conflicts that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver the sprint & project goals.
- Self-starter & self-motivated with a drive to identify opportunities for improvement across the agile delivery processes.
- Highly independent, takes ownership, does not need to be told what to do and seeks feedback and execute actions.
Ideally you have the following skills:
- Problem-solving skills

- Knowledge of Automation tools, such as UiPath / Power Platform
- Knowledge in BPM solutions
- Knowledge in programming languages, such as C, C++, Java, Python or .NET
- Experience with Databases, such as SQL and NoSQL
- Experience with SQL, XML, JSON and CSV
- Experience of modern API technologies
- Good understanding of Unix shell, Perl, python to perform automation and maintenance tasks
- Good understanding of CI/CD environments
- Big picture oriented, end-to-end and concept to-operations thinker
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to adjust own style to suit audience and achieve objectives
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), second language an advantage
