The student will join the PPE Quality, Labs and Test area, which is responsible for operating and maintaining laboratory environments for testing network equipment, servers and cloud platforms. This department plays a strategic role in developing new technological solutions and ensuring the quality and availability of Vodafone’s infrastructure.

Throughout the internship, the student will have the opportunity to:

• Learn to perform installation, configuration and maintenance of network devices, servers and storage systems in a professional lab environment.

• Develop skills in advanced networking, including routing, VLANs, QoS, VPNs and perimeter security.

• Apply automation and virtualization tools, such as Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes, under the supervision of the technical team.

• Understand the process of designing and evaluating infrastructure solutions, contributing to requirements definition for space, power and cooling.

• Collaborate in technical documentation, inventory records and internal process tracking.

• Enhance teamwork and technical communication skills, including working in English and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

University Degree:
Students enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in:

• Telecommunications Engineering

• Computer Engineering

• Network and Systems Engineering

• Electronic Engineering

• Or related fields

Required skills:

• Interest in network technologies and computing systems.

• Ability to learn autonomously and solve problems.

• Initiative and organizational skills.

Languages and valued tools:

• B2 level English or higher (technical documentation and communication).

• Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows Server environments.

• Familiarity with scripting (Bash, PowerShell) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable.
