Area description:

Amadeus Ventures is the strategic funding program from Amadeus to invest in early stage startups focusing on the travel industry. We are the leading corporate funding vehicle in our industry. We work globally with financial VCs, startup accelerators and event organisers to identify high potential entrepreneurs with new ideas that can shape the future of our industry. 

Placement project:

• Knowledge of startup ecosystem, corporate venturing and latest technological innovations at global level
• Acquire research and analytical skills for building market analyses
• Improving presentation and communication skills 
• Gaining experiencie in project coordination and management
• Improving the ability to work as part of a diverse and structured team 
• Improving the ability to work individually and under pressure
• Research on new trends and startups: Conduct market analysis on relevant topics and trends for Amadeus
• Collaborate with Amadeus Ventures Dealflow: Responsible for inbound leads received through Amadeus Ventures online form. Filtering of relevant startups, communication to both relevant and discarded startups and distribution to relevant team member. Capturing relevant startups in Salesforce
• Collaborate with Amadeus Ventures Investment Process: Participate in building the case for Ventures pipeline. Research of industry in which startup operates, analysis of competition, market size assessment, etc.
• Support in Amadeus Ventures Startup Ecosystem Building: Support the end-to-end content management process of Amadeus Universe platform, interacting with startups and internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with Amadeus Ventures Communications: Participate in the preparation of internal and external communications such as blog posts, webinars, interesting content to be shared on internal platforms.
• Collaborate with Amadeus Ventures Operations: Support the team managing information rights of portfolio companies, update and tracking of salesforce

Requirements:

• Full professional proficiency in English
• Strong oral and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge in accounting and/or corporate finance an advantage
• Fast learner and thinker
• Prior exposure entrepreneurship, startup ecosystem, venture capital an asset
