🏢 About the Company and the Department

bp’s Finance team plays a key role in transforming financial processes and supporting strategic decision-making across supply businesses in Iberia. The department focuses on performance management, process standardization, and digital innovation to enable agile, data-driven operations.
During this internship, the student will join the Finance C&P and Midstream PPM Finance area, collaborating on high-impact projects that drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

📚 Learning Objectives – Master’s in Productivity, Adaptive Management, and Innovation

Throughout the program, the student will combine academic knowledge with practical experience linked to the master’s core areas:

Adaptive Management Strategies:
Learn to analyze and redesign financial processes to increase efficiency, aligning with evolving environmental and regulatory requirements.

Innovation in Business Operations:
Participate in deploying new international performance tools and contribute to the standardization of processes across Iberia.

Change Management and Productivity:
Support the reassignment of tasks and continuous improvement activities that enhance team performance and adaptability.

Data-Driven Decision-Making:
Develop skills in financial analysis and reporting using Excel and SAP, supporting strategic decisions in a dynamic environment.

Process Optimization:
Collaborate on the IBERIA PEC and IBP projects to design, implement, and monitor improvements in workflows and reporting systems.

Learning Activities

Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the student will:

🔹 Learn to analyze and propose improvements in financial workflows and reporting structures.
🔹 Support the implementation of standard tools and methodologies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
🔹 Assist in data consolidation, validation, and visualization using Excel and SAP.
🔹 Participate in meetings with local and international teams to align project objectives.
🔹 Develop communication materials to support change initiatives and training sessions.
🔹 Gain exposure to the financial planning and performance management of supply businesses.

🎓 Candidate Profile

📌 Academic Background:
Recent graduates or students in their final year of:

  • Finance

  • Business Administration

  • Economics

  • Industrial Engineering

  • Related fields

📌 Key Skills:

  • Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to adapt to dynamic environments

  • Effective written and verbal communication

📌 Languages and Tools:

  • B2/C1 level of English (required for collaboration with international teams)

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (required)

  • Familiarity with SAP (valued)
