As a MPN Operations trainee, you´ll have the opportunity to learn and apply your knowledge by:
- Technical understanding of Mobile Private Networks, including architecture and operational activities. The intern will learn technical aspects of 5G mobile core, virtual and cloud platforms, IP (routing and switching) and security.
- Experimenting Vodafone's design, deployment and assurance processes.
- Understands deployment and maintenance activities for hardware and software components of an MPN (Mobile Private Network), including 5G core, servers, virtual machines, cloud computing, routers, switches, firewalls and performance monitoring and management applications.
- Reporting overall system performance.
- Analysing and document platform improvements using performance monitoring systems and other available tools.
- Helping to maintain high availability and optimal performance of the customer’s MPN infrastructure and related IT and Telecom supported services.
- Support to optimise operational activities and methods already in place.
- Contributes to the customization of hardware and software solutions based on customer requirements, delivering cost efficient services of high quality.
Ideally you have the following skills:
- General knowledge in mobile networks, IP and Security best practices
- Software development, Python, Unix scripting, AWS knowledge are valued.
- Fluency in English (B2 Upper Intermediate)
- Currently enrolled in Telecoms, IT or Software Engineer studies.
- General knowledge in Word, Excel, PPT.
