Plan de formación propuesto

International Tax Department is part of Legal, External Affairs and Governance area (LEG). The main function of the department is to provide corporate support in international taxation to the Group entities, business, and strategy in collaboration with other teams or standalone in different matters such as: new tax regulations, tax audit or inspections, tax calculations, support with tax analysis, tax clauses, internal mergers, restructuring, external M&A, tax credits, tax contingencies, tax news analysis…

The team is currently composed of 6 members who work hand in hand, despite the specific tasks are divided between different expertise fields between all.

Project Description

The intern will be involved in different projects such as: implementation tax automation tools for internal reporting, implementation and go life of Pillar 2 framework, and daily support to the global tax compliance project recently started within the group.

Additionally, to the main projects, the intern will support with all daily matters such as residence certificates, analysis of double taxation convention, preparation of reports, internal training and so on.

Accountabilities

  • Review regularly (weekly) international tax regulations and developments, affecting mainly EMEA and NORAM regions.
  • Support providing tax analysis to the group entities.
  • Support in the analysis of tax audits, inspections, working together with external advisors providing critical and challenging opinions.
  • Support in the use of the tax audits reporting tool.
  • Provide support in international tax calculations and filings.
  • Support in building group tax reports and analysis.
  • Support in the implementation, understanding and calculations of new tax developments (i.e., Pillar 2).

Learning

General knowledge about taxation with special importance of international taxation environment (OCDE Tax Convention, EU Tax Directives...).
Capability of understanding new regulations, tax developments and its different implementation stages.
Ability to synthesize tax analysis and understand tax terminology.

 

Requirements

  • Spanish
  • English
  • French would be a plus, but not mandatory
  • Teamwork.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic about new daily challenges
  • Good organization and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • General knowledge of Office, with special importance of Excel, Power Point and MS Outlook.
