Join our dynamic team as Product Content Marketing intern and take on a versatile role that immerses you in the strategic core of our marketing initiatives. Collaborating closely with Amadeus Product Management, Regional Product Marketing, and Customer Marketing teams, you’ll be at the forefront of the content recipe and marketing strategy for multiple Amadeus products.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in content creation, campaign strategy, and cross-functional teamwork, while gaining valuable insights into the convergence of technology and evolving needs of travel sellers in the global marketplace.

Project Description: 

  • Contribute to the organization of the upcoming Regional Amadeus Product Advisory Board events – NORAM and EMEA.
  • Create / revamp / update / rebrand the sales and marketing collateral for multiple Travel Office IT products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with TRU Customer Marketing on the marketing campaigns / activities required to support 2024 strategic Travel Office IT priorities.

Accounabilities

Product Content Strategy:

  • Participate in the definition of the product positioning and messaging for multiple Amadeus products and solutions, creating compelling value propositions for both internal and external audiences. Work and align with Product Management and Regional Product Marketing teams to ensure that the positioning reflects the real business value of the product or solution and addresses real business challenges of our travel seller customers in the different regions.
  • Develop customer-facing sales & marketing collateral at product level (sales presentation, sales sheets, infographics, case studies, demo videos…) to support the commercial organization on product related conversations with travel seller customer, and to be leveraged for marketing campaigns. Maintain the product content assets, making sure that they are up to date with the latest roadmap deliverables.
  • Support TRU Marketing teams on the type of marketing program required for our strategic products (positioning, lead generation, adoption…), product positioning, product target audience, product revenue objectives…
  • Collaborate with TRU Marketing to ideate and develop the campaigns: define channels, develop campaign messaging, create the necessary content assets.
  • Work on the campaign performance monitoring and campaign results measuring against expected impact.

Product Launches: work on the MarCom stream of Amadeus Go-To-Market process, creating the minimum necessary sales collateral and required translations to enable the successful launch of our products and solutions in the different markets.  

Product Lifecycle / Product User Groups: support the organization of the Amadeus Product Advisory Boards (events), intended to gather the necessary customer feedback on our new products / features to complete the different stages of the Product Lifecycle.

  • Technical excellence: gaining foundational knowledge in both online and offline marketing - ability to translate complex technical product information into persuasive themes and engaging content; ability to create various types of sales and marketing assets; ability to optimize content for different platforms and formats; understanding various channels for content distribution including email marketing, social media, and events.
  • Customer focus: tailoring content to address the specific needs, preferences, and pain points of distinct travel sellers’ profiles and buyer personas.
  • Analytical thinking: ability to analyze data related to content performance to refine content strategies; ability to track, measure and benchmark campaign results and channel performance metrics across the various stages of the marketing funnel, evaluating campaign success in terms of actual business impact compared to pre-defined objectives.
  • Building relations: engaging with various internal stakeholders from different business areas (such as commercial, product marketing, product management, customer marketing, go-to-market), fostering professional relationships that are crucial for the effective development of the product content marketing role.
  • Project management: collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing deadlines, and adapting to shifting priorities; gaining experience in coordinating with external agencies for content creation.

Requirements: 

  • Fluency in English is essential,  German will be a plus.
  • Basic understanding of both online and offline marketing concepts and strategies, such as content optimization, various marketing channels, and basic analytics.
  • Good writing skills – clear, concise, and engaging – essential for crafting compelling product content across diverse formats such as sales presentations, infographics, sales sheets, case studies…
  • Good communication skills, essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams, involving the ability to articulate ideas clearly, actively receive and integrate feedback, and engage effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Capacity for innovative thinking and creativity in generating ideas for content and campaigns.
  • Attention to detail, crucial to uphold content accuracy, ensure error-free materials, and maintain alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Basic graphic design skills using tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Passion for the travel industry coupled with genuine interest in technology. 

Please note that the duration of the internship will be 6 months and may be extended for an additional 6 months.
