Within Amadeus, the Digital & Transformation Services (DTS) pro-vides the digitalization solutions to Amadeus worldwide, with the mission to move Amadeus forward by enabling collaboration, optimizing end-to-end processes, and transforming how Amadeus works and operates. The Sourcing and Strategy Execution (SSE) team plays a crucial role in the strategic planning, vendor management and talent management and in ensuring the optimal utilization of the resources of the organization.

You will play a key role in fostering a vibrant online community of learners, educators, and industry experts. You will contribute to the creation and implementation of strategies to engage our audience, drive participation, and facilitate meaningful interactions within our learning platform. Your primary focus will be on cultivating a supportive and collaborative environment where members can enhance their skills, share knowledge, and network with peers.

This initiative holds great importance as it directly impacts the efficiency, productivity, and overall success of DTS. By developing the skills of DTS staff, we ensure that the organization has the right talent and capacity to meet current and future business needs.

Accountabilities:

The area of focus of this internship will be to support the team in the management of the DTS Academy, which aims to develop talent management and upskilling programs to enhance DTS capabilities and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

You will also support the team in other activities under their scope such as: Sourcing Strategy definition, governance framework with different providers, business case creation to evaluate to assess optimization opportunities, etc.

Main accountabilities would be:

  • Support the implementation of talent management strategies to develop and retain top IT professionals.
  • Identify training and development needs and design programs to enhance skills and competencies.
  • Coordinate virtual events, workshops, and training sessions led by internal and external subject matter experts.
  • Manage the scheduling, promotion, and logistics of learning activities.
  • Collect feedback and evaluate the effectiveness of learning experiences.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the DTS Academy.
  • Ad hoc support to SSE team on their daily activities.

Learning: 

As part of the SSE team, you will have the opportunity to work with DTS leaders and collaborate with colleagues from other departments such as People & Culture, Controlling, Purchasing and other key stakeholders.

This opportunity will lead you to understand the business processes at a strategic, tactical, and operational level of the organization. You will learn how Sourcing Strategy Execution (SSE) team carries out the activities related to planning and strategy.

More specifically, through the management of the DTS Academy, you gain experience and develop the following areas:

  • Communication Skills: Enhance written and verbal communication skills through regular engagement with community members, including responding to inquiries, soliciting feedback, and facilitating discussions.
  • Community Management: Gain hands-on experience in com-munity management by assisting in the organization of virtual events, workshops, and training sessions, as well as monitoring community activity and responding to member needs.
  • Knowledge in Learning Solutions: Develop a foundational understanding of learning solutions and educational technology by assisting in the curation of learning resources, evaluating the effectiveness of learning experiences, and contributing to the development of educational content.
  • Content Creation and Curation: Acquire skills in content creation and curation by contributing to the development of original content and visual assets, as well as identifying and curating relevant learning resources for community members.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Gain exposure to data analysis and insights by assisting in the collection and analysis of feedback from community members, as well as tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to community growth, engagement, and satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Develop problem-solving skills and adaptability by addressing challenges and opportunities that arise within the learning community, such as resolving technical issues, addressing member concerns, and optimizing engagement strategies.
  • Team Collaboration: Learn how to collaborate effectively within a team environment by working alongside experienced professionals in community management, digital marketing, and educational technology, as well as contributing to cross-functional pro-jects and initiatives.
  • Professional Development: Take advantage of mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals in the field, as well as networking opportunities with industry experts, educators, and fellow interns, to support ongoing professional growth and development.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Cultivate creativity and innovation by exploring new ideas, approaches, and technologies to enhance the learning experience and drive community engagement, such as experimenting with gamification, microlearning, and user-generated content.

Requirements: 

 

Being a part of the SSE team demands proactivity, building relationships, problem solving skills and a multidisciplinary approach. We are looking for interns with solid communication skills, capable of managing and animating a growing community of IT learners.

Main requirements to access this opportunity are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Microsoft O365 suite, mainly SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for building relationships with diverse audiences.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric mindset.

Please note that the duration of the internship will be 6 months and may be extended for an additional 6 months.
