Area description:

Technology Partners is the business line looking after the technology companies that connect with Amadeus technology to bring robust products with Amadeus content and API functionalities to our Travel Agency ecosystem. The Technology Partners team manages these 250+ partnerships across all products and regions, from Booking Engine Partners, to Mid Back offices, fare optimizers, fare intelligence or any service in general.

Project description:

The role of the account manager involves establishing and nurturing relationships with both new and existing technology partners. This includes onboarding new accounts, ensuring contract fulfillment, and identifying opportunities to strengthen these partnerships. During this experience, you’ll have the chance to apply the knowledge you’ve gained from your studies and develop your skills. As an account manager, you’ll handle long tail accounts from around the world, overseeing the entire commercial process from lead generation to final onboarding. Additionally, you’ll actively contribute to redesigning the commercial process for new and developing accounts, with a focus on self service, digitalization and efficiency. This presents an opportunity to think creatively and implement innovative solutions in a global team with presence in different countries. 

Accountabilities:

  • Manage commercial relationships with new and developing accounts in close collaboration with the Operations, Legal, Billing, Collection and Delivery teams
  • Drive the process design for these new and developing accounts, with a strong emphasis on self-service, digitalization, and efficiency to facilitate the streamlined onboarding of this account type.

Learning:

Account Management:

  • Understanding the role of an account manager in building and maintaining relationships with technology partners.
  • Learning about onboarding processes for new accounts and ensuring contract fulfillment.
  • Gaining exposure to managing long tail accounts and experiencing the entire commercial process.

Process Design and Efficiency:

  • Participating in the redesign of commercial processes for emerging accounts.
  • Focusing on self-service and digitalization to enhance efficiency.
  • Contributing to innovative solutions for streamlining account onboarding.

Requirements:

  • Studies in Business or Technical Fields: Candidates with a background in business administration, engineering, or related fields would be ideal.
  • Proficiency in English; fluency in an additional language is a valuable asset (Spanish, French, German)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Team Spirit: The intern should enjoy collaborating with others and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Interest in Technical Topics: Enthusiasm for technical subjects, processes, and automation is desirable
  • Desire to Develop Commercial Skills: The intern should be motivated to learn about business operations, sales, and customer relations. Ideal if knowledgeable on Salesforce
